What do they do?

A working forest with abundant wildlife and natural habitats, Grizedale is also a tourist hub for adventurous activities like mountain biking and zip trekking and an art destination with around 40 sculptures placed throughout the woodland.

What support is offered to Schools?

They can deliver activities for education groups including A-level and University students. Choose from a range of topics including art & sculpture, recreation, ecology and forestry. They also offer practical conservation sessions which can also be used to support learners working to achieve their John Muir award.
