Do trees need carbon?

Published on 25th September 2015

Hi Tree,

Please BREATHE in our carbon dioxide.

We need your oxygen... You can have our carbon.

Please store it safely and make it into your own energy to grow and give us shade.

Good point pupils from St P's. We need more plants to grow so they can draw carbon out of the atmosphere and store it in their bodies. The bigger the tree the more carbon it stores.
